As I sit here in silence, I realize there really is no silence. I hear the wind blowing through the trees outside. My dog rustling around in the background. I am thankful for noise because it fills space and it keeps me aware of the world I live in. I am so thankful that I am able to hear all the noises that fill my day. I am blessed to have that sense. It is so nice to just stop for a minute and take in my surroundings. To observe and analyze all that God is doing in my life. Sometimes before this moment I am not even fully aware of all that He is doing until I sit back and discover. The beauty he is showing me at this very moment-- pause. I take it all in. To soak in his presence. It is so comforting to know that he is all around me; protecting me from the evils of this world and offering me peace in Him. He is gentle, he is kind, and he wants me to be fully aware of His presence. How many times am I taking advantage of that? Daily? Weekly? I realize, not enough. The fullness I feel is so satisfying I am not sure why I do not do it as often. Stopping the chaos of life and resting in the presence of the Creator of the universe. Basking in who He is and what he wants to do in my life. Take a couple minutes and sit somewhere away from the loudness of the world. Get away from people and sit somewhere "quiet" with the Lord. I am telling you it will be worth it. My favorite place to be with God is in nature because it is a place where I feel his presence all around me. It is very comforting to sit and just breathe. To take it all in. Take a moment to praise and thank God for what is around you. For what he has brought into your life for a purpose; to bless you, to challenge you, to grow you. I love basking in his presence because it recharges, refuels, and refills me. It fills me up so I can pour out His love to others that need it and espeially to those who are unaware of it. Don't let your spiritual tank get empty because that was never God's design. "Ephesians 3:19 says "..and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." Did you catch that? "All the fullness". Not a quarter or a half but ALL. He wants to fill us up with his fullness so that we do not have to feel empty or be empty. He wants us to be full, to overflow so that we can share His goodness with others, Romans 15:13 says "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." God designed us to have joy and peace and to be overflowing. To share the hope of Jesus Christ to all who are around us. Are we taking the timed to be filled enough to overflow?

Nice reminder, thank you, the fullness of God. Really? Yes. "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10.
